Vintage Articulated Brass Swan Centerpiece

A striking large vintage swan centerpiece, beautifully modeled with a graceful curved neck, glass inset eye, and richly textured feather detailing throughout the body and hinged wings. The wings lift open on a hinge to reveal an interior cavity, likely designed to hold a glass liner or flower frog, making this piece fully functional as a floral centerpiece, in addition to being a striking decorative object on its own.

It has developed a warm, aged patina over time. It can be used as a planter or secret trinket box with the wings closed.

The swan measures 13" beak to tail and about 10" tall.
