Antique Victorian Asiatic Pheasants blue and white transferware plate, produced in Staffordshire, England in the late 19th century. This classic pattern features two stylized pheasants among lush peonies, blossoms, and foliage, rendered in rich cobalt blue transfer on a warm cream earthenware ground. An ornate floral and scrollwork border surrounds the scene, complemented by a softly scalloped rim that enhances the decorative composition.

The Asiatic Pheasants pattern was one of the most popular designs produced by Staffordshire potteries during the Victorian period and remains a favorite among collectors of English transferware and traditional blue and white ceramics.

Unmarked on the reverse, as commonly seen with many Staffordshire examples from the period.

The plate measures 9" in diameter and is in good antique condition with some crazing.
