Lidded Pink Alabaster Shell Box with Dolphin Feet

Beautiful mid-century carved Italian alabaster trinket box sculpted in a scallop shell form, with deeply ribbed lid and base showcasing the stone’s natural peach, honey, and cream banding. A polished brass collar mount separates the lid from the base, and the box rests on small decorative dolphin feet, giving it an elegant, slightly elevated profile.

Both sculptural and functional, it makes a lovely place to store jewelry, matches, or small keepsakes while adding warmth and texture to a tabletop or vanity display. The box has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and stands 4 inches tall.
