Late 19th century engraver’s calling card sample display. A stationer’s presentation featuring eight finely engraved Victorian calling cards, including a “Cards to Order” banner example, mounted on gold fabric. Beautifully executed script, ornamental flourishes, and a charming motifs, all housed in an antique walnut frame with gilt liner. A wonderful piece of printing history and graphic design from the golden age of social calling culture. 

Measures 13” x 11”.  The frame shows wear commiserate with age.
