Antique Oval Portrait of a Lady

Charming antique portrait of a young woman, painted in warm, earthy tones with a soft, contemplative expression. Her delicately detailed blouse and naturalistic features reflect late 19th–early 20th century academic style. Housed in a classic oval gilt frame, adding timeless character and elegance.

The portrait is oil on board. It’s signed R.A. Daugherty, and dated 1908. The frame has a repair and some chips, and there is a minor spot of paint loss.  It measures 17 1/2” x 13 1/2”.
