Citrine Opaline Footed Casket Box

Gorgeous mid-century Murano opaline glass trinket box, attributed to Fratelli Ferro, circa 1950s–60s. Soft citrine colored glass with genuine uranium content and glows bright green under UV light. Hand-painted floral lid in sepia and gold, gilt bronze basket-weave mounts, and ornate claw feet. Unsigned (no maker's label survives), but form and decoration are a strong match to documented Fratelli Ferro pieces. Light wear to gilding; 2 very small hairline surface scratches on the front top, please see photo.

Measures 4 1/2" x 2 3/4" x 2 1/2".
